Is ozone treatment safe?
Ozone is harmful to breathe at high concentrations, so we only treat unoccupied spaces. Afterward we ventilate and check levels with a monitor before anyone comes back in.
How long does a treatment take?
Most jobs take a few hours of treatment plus ventilation time. Heavy odors can take longer or need a second visit. Your quote includes a timeline.
When can we go back inside?
When the ozone monitor says the space is clear. We don't set a return time by the clock, because ventilation speed varies from place to place.
Will the smell come back?
If the air and surfaces are treated and the source is gone, usually not. If the source is still there, like a leak, a soaked subfloor, or smoke-stained drywall, the smell can return. We'll tell you what we find during the assessment.
Will ozone damage my belongings?
Ozone can dry out rubber and some plastics and can fade certain materials over repeated exposure. Tell us what's in the space and we'll advise on moving or covering anything sensitive.
Do you remove mold?
No. Ozone can reduce musty odors, but it does not remove mold or fix the moisture behind it. If we suspect mold, we'll recommend a specialist.
How should I prepare?
Arrange for people, pets, and plants to be away. Open closets, cabinets, and drawers so the treatment reaches inside. Turn off any air fresheners. We'll go over the rest during the assessment.
Do you treat vehicles?
Yes. We treat the cabin and vent system with the vehicle empty and closed. Many vehicles are ready the same day.
Do you work with landlords and property managers?
Yes. We schedule around tenant turnovers and can treat vacant units. Ask about pricing for multiple units.
